HCL Advisor
My company, Red Pill Now, worked with tech giant, HCL to develop a service designed to provide customers with a comprehensive inventory, and objective analysis of the Domino applications contained on one or more servers. Advisor then seeks to assess the value of each application based on business rules and key metrics provided by the customer. This data is used to suggest if the application should be retired, maintained, or modernized as part of a broader, strategic application management program.
Prior to Advisor, gathering and analyzing this information was an expensive, time-consuming effort for CIOs, network administrators, and consultants alike. Advisor was designed for ease of deployment, and analysis of the resulting data.
While the utility is generally executed by a Business Analyst, the application was designed so that it can be used by the customer without the assistance of a consultant should the need arise.
